It all begins with an idea.
One of my earliest memories of jewelry is of greatly admiring the cameo ring that my mother wore on her right hand. I think I was about 4 years old. That fascination with cameos was solidified upon living in Italy for several years. I freely admit however, the fascination does not end with cameos.
Simply stated - I love jewelry! It is not just about the inherent beauty or craftsmanship of a piece . It is also for what it may represent. In addition to adornment, jewelry can be a reminder of a bond, a celebration, an expression of one’s heritage, art as your own personal style. Jewelry provides pleasure as well as sentiment.
It is my hope that the BadBonBon collection can pass on some of the joy that I experienced while in the process of creating these original pieces.
